Rondoni Bianco

On the isle of Markus the Mad
There is something about this place...

From the private writings of FR:

No children running out to meet us, only a sullen young man. Distrustful, scared, beseeching glances. What is wrong with this place?

Rondoni Bianco

Day 95
The Talaria made it into port in Crail. Upon contacting the Talaria’s factor about the salvaged cargo Mrs. Martin informed the Rondoni Bianco, the owners of the salvaged cargo, that we were willing to return the cargo to them. Captain Garro received a invitation to dinner from Captian Onassi and Vaughn his factor. At the dinner engagement, Captain Garro agreed to take the cargo to an island near Barathi. The koldun on the island would pay the remaining balance with the delivery of the cargo.

Day 96
Rondoni Bianco’s purser arrived with deposit, a reward for returning the cargo, and charts for voyage. Isla deemed that with the time of year and location it would take 49 days to reach the island. Captain Garro procured a shipment of spices to trade on arrival. Lucian made note of his distrust of the situation.

Day 117
Isla informed the captain the she had a bad feeling about something. It was enough notice to get the deck on watch in time to spot a ship flying pirate flag. With the captains decisive orders, Fafhrd was able to repel the marauders. Isla’s navigation kept the ship from damage. The enemy ship was damaged and broke off attack. Captain Garro chose not to pursue chase and instead chose to continue on course.

Day 83
3 1/2 Bells
Thought the burning ship was sinking toward a small uncharted cloud island.
Keesha scouted for the wreckage on Sh’rill as the rest of the crew followed on board the Talaria. Keesha on further inspection noted that the ship had broken up on a could island ans that there were glowing boxes near the wreckage.

5 Bells
Captain Loken, Lucian, Keesha, Sh’rill, and Isla Garro made landfall on far cove of island because of the reef and made their way through the jungle to the wreckage. The wreckage contained glowing koldun boxes which where 1/4 mile from shore. The crew noted the lack of survivors of the burning ship. Isla Garro used her abilities to move the ship wreckage closer to shore.

6 Bells
Crew was attacked by a giant white crocodile that charged the shore and several schools of flying biting fish. The fish were easy to dispatch but the crocodile was a worthy opponent and after several attempts to slay the beast he eventually escaped us back into the water. The crew examined the wreckage in the jungle and found only a few corpses and it appeared everything of value had been already looted, probably before the crash.

7 Bells
Crew returned to the wreckage to retrieve the koldun cargo. After much effort from the crew, six boxes where brought to the beach. Upon seeing the cargo label it was decided to return to Crail to return the cargo to it’s owner. We made use of Keesha , Sh’rill and crew men to get the six boxes of cargo into cargo hold four.

Returning to Crail

Yr 377

Day 77
4 bells- cast off, two days late. M. R—’s cargo did not make it to the docks, hold 4 and 5 are empty. The deposit will not make up for the lost profit for those hollow holds.
12 bells 3/4 past- narrowly avoided a large zargazum, upshare to Ms. Garro for early detection. The channel should be clear for another three days, update charts at earliest convenience.

Day 82
20 bells 1/2 past- general quarters sounded. A small skiff was sighted to aft.
22 bells- return to quarters, double watch.

Day 83
1 bell 1/4 past- Mr. Emile spotted a ship afire starboard and blueward. He believes it is sinking.
3 bells- pirates repelled, three small skiffs. Port stubs, two portwing lines, port hull fire damage. Sinking ship might have been bait.
